24 Hours of Impact is an opportunity for Dragons to make some noise for the many areas of Drexel that make the University unique. This single day illuminates how the generosity of each donor has the potential to turn up the volume in the classroom, on the field, and in the community. Together, we will bring the thunder and create opportunities to inspire Drexel students to succeed.

The Student Emergency Fund provides one-time resources to address immediate student financial needs. During the pandemic, it has helped students to return home during campus closures, gain access to the resources to complete virtual classes, and help Drexel students who are experiencing an unexpected and emergent situation that could jeopardize their education. Commencement is a Drexel tradition and so is the regalia that each graduate wears. However, for some students the $90 cost of the cap and gown is out of reach. That’s where the Drexel community can help. Each gift of $90 to the Graduation Regalia Assistance Fund covers the cost for one Dragon and makes it possible for them to be a part of the ceremony wearing their cap and gown. Every Drexel student can find co-op placements that match their passions and goals; however, many students pursue opportunities that are not appropriately salaried, at nonprofits, in other countries, or in high cost-of-living cities. The Co-op Opportunity Fund creates opportunities where industry funding doesn’t exist, and provides stipends for unpaid and underpaid cooperative learning. By investing in The Co-op Opportunity Fund, you unlock career-defining experiences for students of all backgrounds in every industry across the globe. Study Abroad Scholarships make it possible for Drexel students to participate in global engagement activities regardless of their personal financial situation. Gifts to Study Abroad Scholarship will help to cover costs for students studying overseas, helping Drexel students gain a different perspective of their field, a deeper understanding of a different culture, and an expanded view of the world. Student Financial Aid reduces the burden of paying for college for students who demonstrate financial need. Financial aid makes a significant impact for many students every year, ensuring they can pursue their Drexel degree and make the most of opportunities that will help them succeed after graduation. The STAR (Students Tackling Advanced Research) Scholars Program is an opportunity for highly motivated first-year students to engage in an early faculty-mentored undergraduate research, scholarship, or creative experience during the summer after their freshman year. Students spend the summer term living on campus and are encouraged to take a hands-on approach to their education through undergraduate research. Give Now: STAR Scholars Program
The Center for Autism and Neurodiversity (CAN) is a student-centered program for current neurodivergent Drexel students with the goal of promoting academic and social competency, self-advocacy, interpersonal skills, independent living, and social integration. CAN’s goal is to help participants take advantage of University life, develop the academic and social skills needed to pursue career opportunities, and lead a full and enriched life. The Center for Inclusive Education and Scholarship (CIES) provides support for programs which serves traditionally underrepresented and underserved populations, supporting the academic experience of Drexel students, from pre-college access programs to graduation and beyond. Programs like Drexel Global Scholars, Liberty Scholars, Schleyer Scholars, First Forward: Drexel’s 1st Genration Program, and Dragon Navigators are part of the CIES. The Counseling Center provides access to mental health services at no cost to Drexel students through group & individual counseling, wellness workshops, outreach programs, consultation, and referral services. A gift of $100 helps to offset the cost of ongoing crisis hotline support for students and strengthens the University’s commitment to mental health and wellness. The Student Center for Diversity and Inclusion (SCDI) supports and empowers students of all backgrounds as they build a sense of community that reflects the diversity of the University’s student body. The SCDI actively advocates for student diversity, intersectional social justice and education on campus; gifts to the Center help ensure that students feel their whole identity is included and respected during their time at Drexel. The Environmental Collaboratory partners with community organizations to find solutions that drive systemic change and align climate transition and environmental justice with the needs of our communities. Give Now: Environmental Collaboratory
Mario’s Market, the University’s student food pantry, has distributed more than 15,000 pounds of food this academic year and provides nonperishable items to any Drexel student in need. Each gift of $15 helps Mario’s Market to make a full day of resources for meals available for one student combatting food insecurity. Give Now: Mario’s Market, The Student Food Pantry
Students without dining plans who are facing hunger can anonmously use the Student Meal Swipe Donation Program to enjoy a meal with their classmates in the campus dining halls. A gift of $10 pays for one student meal on campus. Give Now: Student Meal Swipe Donation Program
The Drexel University Endowment is an investment in the University that grows over time to help increase financial aid, improve facilities, and elevate research and other essential priorities. The Triangle has been the voice of Drexel students on campus since 1926. Today, students continue to uphold the 97-year tradition of independent student journalism as staff members managing editorial, design, photography, advertising, distribution, and the business operations of the newspaper.
